Private Tuition.

Based in Alton, Hampshire, I offer private drum lessons for students of all ages and skill levels across Hampshire and Surrey. With over 10 years’ experience as a touring musician and a degree in Popular Music Performance from Southampton Solent University (2017), I bring both real-world experience and formal training to every lesson. I also hold an up-to-date DBS certificate, giving parents and students peace of mind.

 

My teaching style is relaxed and supportive, making lessons enjoyable and accessible – perfect whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to take your drumming further. While I’m happy to work from a graded syllabus for those who enjoy the challenge of exams, I don’t believe they’re essential. Lessons are focused on building confidence, creativity, and musical skills across a range of styles, helping you progress at your own pace.

Come to My Teaching Studio.

​​Lessons are hosted in my home studio so if you don't own a drum kit or want to have some lessons before committing to buying a kit, it's an ideal set up! The room is soundproof with a full kit set up as well as a PA system - so if you are keen on practicing songs to backing tracks, that is 100% doable. I have all the drumming gear you could possibly want so all you need to bring is yourself! 

 

There is also space for parents /guardians to sit and observe lessons if that is preferred.
